Looking for a way to celebrate Mother’s Day that involves zero juice boxes and a lot of Cabernet? Join us at Best Friends in Albany for a day dedicated to the moms, pet moms, and chosen-moms who love a little friendly competition and a great pour.

This is a 21+ event, so ditch the kids, grab your "mom-friends," and get ready to piece together some fun. Whether you're a competitive speed puzzler or just here for the casual vibes and the vino, we have a spot for you at the table.

Casual Puzzling tables and the puzzle swap are free and open 12-4.

We’re hosting two separate sessions so you can choose your challenge—or double down and play both!

Time Activity
12:00 PM Pairs Check-in: Grab a drink and find your table.
12:15 PM – 1:45 PM Pairs Speed Puzzling: Team up as your favorite duo.
2:00 PM Teams Check-in: Round up the crew for the next round.
2:15 PM – 3:45 PM Teams Speed Puzzling: Group strategy at its finest.
4:00 PM Event Wrap-up: Take-down and final cheers.

The fastest Pair and Team will each win a prize, plus every participant in the speed puzzling sessions will walk away with a special puzzle-themed Mother’s Day gift to take home.

Venue Details

Location: Best Friends, Albany (901 San Pablo Ave, Albany, CA 94706)

Requirement: 21+ Only (Valid ID required)

Vibe: Wine, puzzles, and kid-free relaxation.

Space is limited! Round up your best puzzle partners and secure your spot for a Mother's Day celebration that’s actually relaxing (and just the right amount of competitive).

To register, select the event you want to participate in. Purchase one registration per pair/team. Double check the Date, Location, Time and/or Piece Count. 

Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours before the event for a refund. If we are unable to sell your spot you will be responsible for the price of the puzzle. The puzzle will then be yours and you can pick it up at a future event. 

And don't forget to come up with an awesome name for your team! You'll tell us at check-in.
