Collection: Puzzle Party at Tallboy 2/22/26
Get ready to piece it together at Tallboy in Oakland! Join us on Sunday, February 22, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM for an afternoon of competitive clicking, casual sorting, and the best "tinis and weenies" in the East Bay.
Whether you’re a frame-first speedster or just here for the vibes, we have a spot for you.
1. Speed Puzzling Registration
Think you have the fastest hands in Oakland? Sign up for our Speed Puzzling Tournament. We’re hosting a head-to-head race to see who can complete a fresh jigsaw puzzle in record time.
The Format: Choose your challenge! Register as a
- 2:00pm Pair (2 people) 300 piece puzzle
- 4:00pm Team (up to 4 people) 500 piece puzzle
The Stakes: Bragging rights, prizes, and the ultimate satisfaction of that final piece.
What’s Included: Your registration covers your entry into the timed heat and the puzzle used for the competition.
2. Casual Puzzling & Swap (Free) 2-6pm
Not feeling the competitive pressure? No problem. The rest of the bar is dedicated to Casual Puzzling—open to everyone but spots fill up fast.
The Swap Table: Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle! Give your old favorites a new home and find your next project.
Community Tables: We’ll have several community jigsaws going throughout the afternoon. Drop in, find a corner, and add a few pieces while you sip.
Fuel for the Grind
It wouldn't be a party at Tallboy without their signature pairings. Fuel your focus with:
'Tinis: A full menu of handcrafted, ice-cold martinis.
Weenies: Oakland’s finest vegan hotdogs with all the fixings.
Note: Registration is only required for the Speed Puzzling Tournament. Casual puzzling and the swap table are first-come, first-served.
To register, select the event you want to participate in. Purchase one registration per pair/team. Double check the Date, Location, Time and/or Piece Count.
Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours before the event for a refund. If we are unable to sell your spot you will be responsible for the price of the puzzle. The puzzle will then be yours and you can pick it up at a future event.
And don't forget to come up with an awesome name for your team! You'll tell us at check-in.
