Join us at Mad Oak for an afternoon of competitive spirit, great vibes, and interlocking pieces. Whether you’re looking to defend your title or just want to click some pieces together in the sunshine, there’s a seat at the table for you.

The Fun

Speed Puzzling Competition: Think you’ve got the fastest hands in Oakland? We’re running two heats of competition. Every team gets to keep their competition puzzle, and the top finishers take home some sweet prizes! Registration is required for competition spots.

2:00 PM: Pairs Competition (300 pieces)
4:00 PM: Team Competition (up to 4 people - 500 pieces)

Casual Puzzling (Free!): Not in a racing mood? No problem. We’ll have open tables with a variety of puzzles for you to work on at your own pace. 

Puzzle Swap (Free!): Refresh your home collection! Bring a gently used puzzle you’ve already mastered and trade it for a new challenge at our swap table. 

The Fuel

Mad Oak features a massive draft list, a full bar for craft cocktails, and delicious food to keep your energy up while you hunt for those elusive edge pieces.

• Ages: Please note that Mad Oak is a 21+ venue.
