Puzzle Night at Public Market Emeryville 10/14/26

Join us at Public Market Emeryville on October 14 for an evening of competitive puzzling, exclusive playtesting, and fantastic food! Whether you are racing the clock in our brand-new relay or relaxing with the community, your taste buds can travel the world enjoying artisan food from 18 distinct eateries.

The Competition: Team Relay
Gather your crew for our newest speed puzzling challenge! Teams of 4 will tackle two 500-piece puzzles, but there is a twist: you have to rotate seats every 10 minutes. Once your team finishes the first puzzle, only two players at a time can work on the remaining board, continuing the 10-minute rotation until the final piece snaps into place. Registration is $60 per team, and you get to take both puzzles home. Expect the puzzle artwork to be wonderfully on-theme for October (prepare for a few spooky surprises). The competition will last 2 hours and will start at 6:15pm.

The Community Tables & Exclusive Playtest
Not feeling competitive? Our Puzzle Swap and community puzzle tables are completely free and open all night long. This month, we have a very special feature: Gamaliel "Meezy" James will be joining us with a selection of brand-new, yet-to-be-released puzzles from Unified Pieces. This is an exclusive opportunity to get your hands on their signature high-quality, premium puzzles before they hit the market. Meezy needs the puzzle community’s help to test out these fresh designs, so come pull up a chair and be the first to build them!

The Fuel
Fuel your focus with a world of flavors from 18 eateries, featuring everything from savory ramen and street tacos to craft cocktails and organic treats. With plenty of communal seating, you can feast on a global spread while you piece together your masterpiece.

Ages & Registration
This event is all ages. While the puzzle swap and community tables (including the Unified Pieces playtest) are completely free for everyone, you must register your 4-person team in advance to secure your $60 spot in the Relay competition.
